PTR 9CT Mini Review. Well I was in the market for a full size MP5 clone. I was leaning towards the Z5RS but none were in stock when I was looking. I always heard good things about PTR, but never cared for G3 style rifles. So I pulled the trigger on the 9CT from Atlantic Firearms because they had a package deal with a free brace.Supressing PTR 9ct. I'm interested in the PTR 9ct (full size). I've seen a Youtube video of someone who had many problems with the gun, especially supressed. The rollers caused bulges in the metal and tore up the buffer. When he called PTR, he was told the gun needed a different locking piece to run suppressed.Love my PTR-9CT, runs great out of the box after a spring change. And I love the rail, saved me money, time and effort, red dots easily cowitness if you like that kind of thing. For the 6-8 times a year I get to shoot, my PTR scratches the itch just fine.
