Possible culprit mods: some that were meant for non SE skyrim and some that messed with dll stuff. I first played the legendary edition up to pretty far in the campaign and was around lvl 45, then i started getting crashes whenever i travelled either through map or manually on horse to any big city, mostly Riften.Tried both methods together, did the first process with deleting appcache and skyrim prefs and shutting down PC thrice. Turn off your wifi completely (not the router but the PC's connection), start up skyrim, load into your save, open the steam overlay, press the windows key and turn your wifi back on if you want to.
